Well-behaved dogs are welcome throughout our bar, garden and designated dining areas.  Whether you're joining us for a hearty meal, a Sunday roast, an overnight stay or simply stopping off after a walk in the South Downs, you can be sure both you and your dog will receive a warm Three Horseshoes welcome.

Our popular PupStop has everything your canine companion needs after a walk in the beautiful Hampshire countryside. Help yourself to freshwater bowls, complimentary dog treats, cosy blankets and a selection of toys, so your dog can relax just as much as you do.  If your dog deserves a little extra indulgence, we also stock a range of canine goodies, including natural chews, tasty biscuits and delicious dog ice cream. 

Easy garden visits

Enjoying our garden? The outside tables on the lawn are fitted with dog lead clips, allowing you to keep your dog safely by your side while you enjoy a leisurely lunch, dinner or a well-earned drink.

Please keep dogs on a lead while visiting, and return blankets and toys when you are finished.

Located in East Worldham, near Alton, The Three Horseshoes is surrounded by miles of footpaths and trails through the South Downs National Park. We’re right on the Hangers Way and have a selection of Three Horseshoes pub walks to follow, making us a natural place to begin or end a day exploring the Hampshire countryside.  If you’re looking for a dog-friendly pub near Alton, muddy paws and walking boots are always welcome here.
