Countryside walks near Alton

Set in East Worldham, close to Alton, The Three Horseshoes is a great starting point for exploring the surrounding Hampshire countryside. Whether you are heading out for a gentle stroll, making a day of it with friends, or stopping by after a longer walk, the pub is here for food, drinks, dogs and muddy boots.

Walk One

A local 3.1 mile circular walk from The Three Horseshoes through the East Worldham countryside. This walk takes around one and a half hours. It is classed as easy with no stiles and generally firm paths, it can be muddy in places.

A perfect walk before or after lunch. Park at the pub.

Walk TWO

A local 3.14 mile circular walk from The Three Horseshoes through the East Worldham countryside. This walk takes around two hours. An easy walk with one stile and a plank footbridge, generally firm paths, can be muddy in places

Walk Three

A longer 4.4 mile circular walk from The Three Horseshoes through the East Worldham countryside. This walk takes around two hours. The route takes in Warner's Hanger, Park Hanger and the ancient common woodland of Binswood. A undulating route with stiles and gates, can be very muddy in places.

Back to the pub
